| Customer Reviews: Those Who Can, Teach April 18, 2010 M. Gonzalez (Chicago IL.) The book was exactly as it was described. It did have a little damage, but it was not a problem. It was very minimal on the corner of the book. I received it quickly. Would buy from them again.
Interesting for a textbook June 10, 2010 C. Ayres (Suffolk, VA USA) I bought this text for use in an Intro to Teaching course. I am on my 3rd year of college, so I've had a lot of different text books and fallen asleep in most of them. This book is different.
It's obvious that this book was written by teachers for future teachers with the understanding that boring texts are not correlative to learning. This book reads like a decent self-help type. The writing is personable and clear. It offers self-exams, sources to use for further information and straight-talk: All of which is generally missing in textbooks.
I know most people that see this review are probably just looking to buy this book for a class so have little concern about the book itself. I just want to say that if you have a class that is using this book, take that class! At least you know you won't be completely bored out of your mind no matter what the rest of the course's content may be. Classes that use truly interesting texts are few and far between, this is the time to take advantage of one of those few opportunities!

I had to get this book for a class. It was fine for the class but was supposed to have links to videos and I had a very difficult time finding the codes/links etc and ended up just winging it during the class without watching them. Other people in the class had the same problem.
