Excellent annual review. February 20, 2010 Donald M. Coder (Shenyang, China) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
The Lange CMDT series is worth the money. Nothing in depth, but authoritative and concise. I use this text often in my teaching medical students in China.
Just what I needed! December 30, 2009 Debra Tooker 17 out of 20 found this review helpful
This is my favorite book to study from. It gives you the essentials to pretty much any health related problem. Ok, so it's not Harrison's book of internal medicine. But it is small enough that I can carry it without getting a hernia.
Quick and easy February 10, 2010 E. Carbona (NY) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
This book is easy to read, diseases and conditions are summarized in a student-friendly fashion.
I love this book June 28, 2010 Adam C. Byrd 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm an M4, and I really like this book. It contains information about a lot of diseases encountered in general medicine, but it is not too in-depth. I used it a lot to study for USMLE Step 2CK (in addition to Crush Step 2). I used it as a reference book, reading about topics which I poorly understand. I like the wording. I like the photos in the middle. It is also a great value -- I don't think I even paid $40 for it brand new. It is my opinion that anyone who wants to break the average on medicine boards or USMLE Step 2CK should read from this book throughout M3 year, or at least during your medicine rotation.
I use it for everything January 30, 2010 Blondie (New York) 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
I find that I use this book to reference everything medical. It is essentially a bible to me.
